This stunningly beautiful jacket combines a modern European classic silhouette in tweed fabric with oriental cultural design attributes. The black Chinese button knots on the front of the jacket can be dated back to the Qing Dynasty in Chinese History (circa 1800’s) and the traditional floral print being used as trim detailing has been a staple for Chinese artists as far back as the Tang dynasty period (618–907 AD).
The prints grew in popularity in the west, over a thousand years later, in the 19th century, when flower prints from China and Japan were heavily used within Western fashion. This perfectly formed little coloured jacket is a style to make any woman feel empowered and stand out in her day to day life.
